A workplace assessment is a reliable tool for employers to learn what is really happening on the front-line of their business. In those instances where workplace concerns and issues are insufficient for the employer to start a formal workplace investigation, a workplace assessment is an effective tool to gather and assess information. The goal of the workplace assessment is to provide employers with accurate insight into the underlying factors and root causes contributing to unsettled and toxic workplaces.
We work with employers to design and implement a workplace assessment that encourages employees to speak freely. Employees feel confident disclosing their workplace concerns to Clarium investigators because we are the external and unbiased intermediaries. We conduct our interviews and write our reports in such a manner that direct feedback is not attributed to any specific employee.
The Personal Interview
In our view, the best way to understand an employee’s concerns about the workplace is to sit down with that employee in a safe and private space and actively listen. Our methodology favours the individual information seeking interview over electronic surveys, town hall meetings, and other methods to collect information. We find that this approach promotes employee engagement, fosters a high degree of trust in the process, and provides the employer with reliable results rich in detail and context.
All the investigators in Clarium’s consortium are highly trained and experienced interviewers. Conducting information gathering interviews, especially interviews that involve difficult and emotionally charged topics, is our speciality.
Because we operate as a consortium of investigators, we can augment our cadre of qualified investigators. This allows Clarium to offer a timely response to employers and the capacity to interview a large number of employees in a short amount of time.
